Country music singers Sheryl Crow, Lady Antebellum and Keith Urban, among others, joined together to help raise flood relief money for Tennessee. The stars answered phones and performed during a telethon, raising $1.5 million. Earlier this month, at least 2,000 Nashville homes were damaged or destroyed from floods hitting Tennessee.

The upcoming schedule for Sheryl Crow’s festival appearances and headlining dates has been lengthened. The outing in support of her upcoming set “100 Miles From Memphis” will now run through the middle of September. Crow is scheduled to kick things off at the Riverbend Festival in Chattanooga TN on June 11. Nineteen additional cities have been added to the run.

Sheryl Crow’s summer schedule has been announced. It includes a mixture of festival appearances and headlining dates as well as participation on the recently resurrected Lilith Fair tour. Crow will be kicking her outing off with an appearance at the Riverbend Festival in Chattanooga, TN on June 11. The trek will wrap up in Bridgeview, IL on June 26.

Lilith Fair, the all female festival, has been resurrected by Sarah McLachlan. The last time it toured was in 1999. The first group of artists confirmed included Sheryl Crow Mary J. Blige and Colbie Caillat. Dates have not bee set yet, however tour organizers have confirmed so far that the touring festival will be visiting 17 cities in North America as well as one location in Europe.

According to a recent press release, “Tuesday Night Music Club,” the breakout debut album from Sheryl Crow, has been expanded and will be re-released on November 17. The deluxe, new edition will be featuring the original album from 1993 along with a second CD with outtakes, rarities and b-sides as well as a bonus DVD with six original videos from the album and a rare “All I Wanna Do” alternate version that Roman Coppola directed.

In addition to offering free downloads from her “Detours” album, limited to 50000 fans, Crow is also partnering with the organization Rock the Vote for giving out unlimited “Gasoline” downloads to anyone signing up to be on Rock the Vote’s mailing list.

Sheryl Crow, already deep into her world tour of 2008, has altered the upcoming leg for the US and also added 11 dates for Canada. Crow, winner of nine Grammy Awards, launched the tour in late April. Last week, she finished the first round of her US dates. On June 24, she will be kicking off a European two week jaunt. She then returns to the US for an additional five week run. James Blunt will be the opener.

The Sheryl Crow spring dates that were previously announced will be directly segueing into Crow’s expansive world tour in support of “Detours,” her new album. Since the last check, Crow has added an additional six shows in North America, including an appearance in Memphis at Beale Street Music Festival. In late April, the multiple Grammy Award winner will be kicking off things with several theater dates and also be headlining a show on April 25 at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
